Priest's House plant sale

Spring has arrived with the odd April shower. As we all begin to think about getting out into the garden, mowing the lawn and deciding what to plant in the flowerbeds this year, the Friends of the Priest's House Museum are offering the perfect opportunity to pick up a few floral bargains on Saturday 3 May from 10am to 4pm on Wimborne's Minster Green. There will be a good selection of bedding and basket plants to tempt green-fingered customers.

Castleman Trailway cycle ride

A cycle ride for all the family is planned along the Castleman Trailway from Colehill Memorial Hall to Moors Valley on Sunday 27 April, 10 to 4. This year is the 50th anniversary of the withdrawal of passenger train services from the area.

Free Christmas opening

Celebrate the Christmas period by visiting the museum from Saturday 7 to Saturday 21 December, excluding Saturday 14 December, (closed Sundays), 10.30 to 3.30. Admission is FREE, and the house and garden tearoom will be open and festively decorated.
