Dorset County Council's Historic Environment team will be at the museum on Tuesday 28 November.

Members of Dorset County Council's Historic Environment team will be at the museum on Tuesday 28 November 2017, 10.30am to 1pm.

Visitors can discuss their research and submit an Historic Environment Record enquiry in person, or show their finds to the Finds Liaison Officer (Portable Antiquities Scheme). It will give local volunteers, researchers and metal detectorists an opportunity to meet face-to-face, and to drop off and collect finds for identification.

Visitors attending the morning session with the Finds Liaison Officer will gain free entry to the museum.
