Mad About Nature

A nature inspired family activity day.

Come and join in the fun with the 'Family Explorers' activity day at the museum in Wimborne on Tuesday 29 May 2018 from 10am to 2pm.

The museum will be providing a fun filled day for children. Get creative with our animal inspired art and craft activities. We'll be making bouquets of tissue paper flowers, caterpillar chains, bug puppets, spinning snakes, jellyfish and Maypole Dancing paper plates, minibeasts, flower art and much more.

Explore the museum and garden with our nature themed trail and test your nature knowledge with our quizzes. There will be a couple of storytelling sessions and creative cookery in our Victorian kitchen.

The Garden Tea Room will be serving light savoury snacks, delicious cakes, cream teas and drinks.

Admission is £1.75 per person (annual ticket not valid), which includes entrance to the museum and garden. All children must be accompanied.

For further information please contact the museum.
