The Friends of the Priest's House Museum are holding the annual Summer Fete at the museum in Wimborne on Saturday 4 August 2018, 10am to 4pm. Jam-packed with fantastic stalls and activities, it's a fun day out for the whole family.

The garden's hidden alcoves and secluded lawns will be packed with an array of stalls including pre-loved vintage, linens, cakes and preserves, and books. Together with traditional children's games, there will be a raffle on the day with a great selection of prizes.

Emma Ayling, the museum's director, said: "We are really excited about the Summer Fete, which is a big fundraising event for the museum - as well as a whole lot of fun!

"There will be something for everyone with a wide range of stalls and games, and of course the opportunity to take a peek at the fascinating museum and to explore the beautiful walled garden. It's a brilliant day for the whole family and we hope to see you there!"

A BBQ and a range of refreshments from the Garden Tea Room will be available. Plus, ice creams to cool down after all the excitement.

Admission is 50p for adults (annual ticket holders free) and free entry for children.

For further information please contact the museum.
