However, we will not be held liable for any errors or omissions, nor for what might arise from your use of and reliance on the information contained on the website. We will make all reasonable endeavours to correct errors and omissions as quickly as practicable after becoming aware or being notified of these.

Prices are in Pounds (£) Sterling and include VAT if applicable.

Making a purchase

Use the 'Add to Cart' button to add items to your shopping cart. To place your order, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

The website uses PayPal to process online payments. You can pay securely via your PayPal account, or debit/credit card - all major cards accepted. All orders must be prepaid. Once your order has been placed and your payment processed a contract of sale has been agreed between us.

You, the buyer, warrant that all the details provided on the order form for the purpose of purchasing the goods are correct, that the debit/credit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds and/or sufficient unused limit available to cover the cost of the goods. All orders for goods shall be deemed to be an offer by you to purchase goods in accordance with these terms and conditions. You, the buyer, are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the details provided on the order form and we will not be obliged to accept an order unless all details requested on the order form have been correctly entered.

We are entitled to refuse any order placed by you and will not be required to provide an explanation.

All orders placed on the internet will automatically receive a confirmation email of the transaction. However, if we are unable to fulfil the order due to items being out of stock, or for reasons beyond our control, we will notify you by email or telephone and the transaction may be cancelled or we will agree alternative arrangements with you.

Shipping & handling

UK shipping only. Delivery charges are based on the weight and size of your order and is for non-tracked postage using Royal Mail.

We will endeavour to despatch your goods within 7 working days, provided the goods are in stock.

To change or cancel an order

If you wish to change or cancel an order prior to your goods being despatched please email museum@priest-house.co.uk, including ‘Online Shop order’ as the ‘Subject’. We will refund the total price of the goods and any delivery charges to the original PayPal account or debit/credit card used in the transaction within 7 working days following your written notice (please note that with the latter it may take a further 30 days to appear on your card statement).

Returns and refund policy

The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 provides customers with the right to cancel an order within 7 working days beginning the day after the goods have been received.

For damaged or incorrect goods, or to return unwanted goods, please notify us within this period. We will not be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us unless they are damaged or incorrect. A refund of the delivery costs incurred by you, no more than the original delivery charge, will be given in the instance of damaged or incorrect goods. We cannot accept responsibility for goods lost in transit.
