The Hilda Coles Open Learning Centre can be hired for events, meetings and hospitality.
The Hilda Coles Open Learning Centre is a new facility set in the beautiful walled garden at the museum, and provides a unique setting for meetings and special events. Comprising of a flexible meeting room, atrium and tearoom, it offers a variety of facilities for hire. All rooms come with a superb view of the walled garden.
The Garden Meeting Room
The meeting room can accommodate a variety of events, ranging from meetings to lectures, concerts, drinks receptions and private parties (e.g. naming ceremonies and children's parties).
The room comes with an audio loop and a flip chart, stand and pens are available on request. A digital projector and stand is available for an additional charge. Free Wi-Fi is available on request.
The Garden Tea Room and Atrium
The modern tearoom and atrium showcase the beautifully crafted oak frame at the far end of the building, its high ceiling making the most of the natural light.
A folding partition wall allows the meeting room to be extended into this space.
A range of refreshment options are available, including tea/coffee and a buffet lunch. Sample menus are available on request.
