The museum is located in the heart of the picturesque town of Wimborne Minster, 20 minutes' drive from Poole, 30 minutes from Bournemouth, 40 minutes from Salisbury and 40 minutes from Weymouth.
You will find us on the High Street, opposite the Minster Church of St Cuthburga and adjacent to the Tourist Information Centre.
Wimborne Minster is just off the A31. From the west take the B3078 and from the east take the B3073 towards the town centre. From Poole and Bournemouth you will enter the town from the south on the A341. The nearest public car park is on King Street, 2-3 minutes' walk from the museum. Disabled parking spaces are available nearby.

From Poole bus station there is a bus service approximately every 15 minutes to Wimborne Minster (Wilts & Dorset, route 3). Alight at Wimborne Square, from where the museum is 1 minute's walk. The journey time is approximately 30 minutes.
From Bournemouth Square and Bournemouth train station there is a bus service approximately every 30 minutes to Wimborne Minster (Wilts & Dorset, route 13). Alight at Wimborne Square, from where the museum is 1 minute's walk. The journey time is approximately one hour.
The nearest railway station is Poole, which has a regular direct service from London Waterloo. Catch bus route 3 (Wilts & Dorset) from stop C opposite the station exit on Holes Bay Road (approximately every 15 minutes). Alight at Wimborne Square, from where the museum is 1 minute's walk. The journey time is approximately 30 minutes. Alternatively there is a taxi rank just outside the station.
There are coach drop off points on West Borough and King Street, a few minutes' walk from the museum. Coach parking is available in the public car park off Allenview Road.
